| Automated System for the Stock Exchange of Thailand | ระบบ ASSET, Example: เป็นระบบคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกแก่การซื้อขายหลักทรัพย์ในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย มักเรียกสั้น ๆ ว่า ASSET เริ่มนำมาใช้ตั้งแต่เดือนพฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2534 โดยใช้แทนระบบซื้อขายแบบเดิมซึ่งใช้วิธีประมูลโดยตัวแทนบริษัทสมาชิกจดแจ้งราคาที่ต้องการซื้อหรือขายบนกระดานซื้อขายในห้องค้าหลักทรัพย์ซึ่งเรียกว่า post on board เมื่อใช้ระบบ ASSET ก็ไม่ต้องมีตัวแทนของบริษัทสมาชิกในห้องค้าหลักทรัพย์ การส่งคำสั่งซื้อหรือคำสั่งขายกระทำโดยตัวแทนของบริษัทสมาชิกซึ่งอยู่ที่บริษัท ป้อนข้อมูลดังกล่าวผ่านคอมพิวเตอร์ของตนที่ต่อเชื่อมกับระบบ ASSET ระบบ ASSET จะบันทึกข้อมูลทั้งหมดเข้าระบบและจัดเรียงลำดับการได้สิทธิซื้อ (หรือขาย) ก่อนและหลังของแต่ละคำสั่งซื้อ (หรือคำสั่งขาย) หากราคาซื้อและราคาขายตรงกันระบบ ASSET จะจับคู่ให้เกิดการซื้อขายโดยอัตโนมัติ (automatching) อย่างไรก็ตาม ระบบ ASSET ก็รองรับรายการซื้อขายที่ตกลงกันได้แล้วค่อยส่งแจ้งรายงานเข้ามาในระบบด้วย ซึ่งวิธีนี้เรียกว่า put through ซึ่งให้ใช้สำหรับการซื้อขายหุ้นที่จัดเป็นการซื้อขายรายใหญ่ (big lot) ตามเกณฑ์ที่ตลาดหลักทรัพย์กำหนดและการซื้อขายตราสารหนี้ ในระบบ ASSET จัดแบ่งการทำงานเป็น 4 ส่วนคือ ส่วนจำเป็น main board สำหรับการซื้อขายหลักทรัพย์ปกติทั่วไป ซึ่งปริมาณการซื้อขายต้องเต็มหน่วยซื้อขาย (board lot) ส่วนที่เป็น odd - lot board สำหรับการซื้อขายหลักทรัพย์จำนวนต่ำกว่า 1 หน่วยซื้อขาย ส่วนที่เป็น big - lot board สำหรับการซื้อขายหลัก ปัจจุบันเปลี่ยนเป็น ระบบการซื้อขายระบบใหม่ ที่เรียกว่า ระบบ ARMS [ตลาดทุน] |
